What's Happening in Libya? Drone wars in Libya -Current Status -Hafter -Turkey -United Arab Emirates

After the maritime authorization agreement between Turkey and the Libyan Government of National Accord, important developments are taking place in Libya. From time to time, this situation turns into a conflict or Drone wars or local operations. Drones and UAVs that are sent to the region by Turkey carry strategic importance and occasionally air operations are carried out aiming Haftar. On the other hand, Haftar receives very strong aid from Arab regions and they carry out operations aimed at the Government of National Accord. In this video, I will tell you about the important events that occurred since April 29. Another important point where these conflicts are happening is the Nasmah region. Drones belonging to the Turkey-backed Libyan forces performed an air operation to 3 vehicles that were carrying ammunition to the troops of Haftar in the south of Nasmah and the vehicles were destroyed. One of the countries that provide the most aid to Haftar in Libya is the United Arab Emirates. It is stated that the United Arab Emirates has sent military shipment with more than 150 cargo planes to Haftar since January, and these aids continue. There are some claims that the UAE sent mercenaries to Haftar. A Drone belonging to the Turkey-backed Libyan forces hit one of these cargo planes on April 5 in the Tarhuna region. Another air attack was directed at tankers located close to the Tarhuna region. It is stated that many Drones are operating in this region. Some of these are caught by the cameras. The Drones sent to Haftar by the UAE carried out an attack on the Turkey-backed Libyan forces after a long time. No lives were lost, but it was the first Drone attack after 1 month and it was an important development for this region. While these were happening in the field, the parties continued to make statements. Haftar's spokesperson, Mismari, announced the launch of Operation Ababil Birds. Mismari also announced that their target was Tripoli and they would enter it. Tripoli is the main center of the Turkey-backed Libyan government. Following these statements, it was observed that 6 Mirage 2000-9 type planes that belong to the UAE were being kept at the Egyptian Sidi Barrani Airport near the Libyan border. It is claimed that these planes can be used against Tripoli, where Libya's GNA is located. Following these developments, Haftar heavily shelled the Tripoli's Mitiga Airport on Saturday, May 9. President Erdoğan made the following statements. Thanks to our support to the legitimate government of the country in Libya, Haftar started to retreat. The efforts of the countries that provide unlimited financial support and weapons to save Haftar will not be enough.
