@pokejace I think it would be a good idea to do a tier list of the top 10-20 Pokemon of each generation & also combined that with a tier list of tough pull rates combined with art & that could determine whether its market manipulation oh yes also time of release

That Magikarp's artwork was waayyyy under-rated IMHO. Shinji Kanda's cards will continue to be hot, I think.

Facts. It eludes me at the moment but he just did like an uncommon or regular rare in the last set and it’s still goooooood… sharkpedo maybe comes to mind?? Idk… but if he ever does an IR or SIR I’m buying it asap… lol.

@@TheSnackAttackingSnorlax I'm not trying to be hyper critical of any artwork here - anyone would be lucky to be contributing artwork to the cards - but there are just a few modern artists that have obviously different styles. I put all the Kanda cards next to each other, and you can see how they are "his" cards. I predict Pokemon will eventually lean into this even more, and allow further artistic experimentation. My dream is a Kanda Umbreon SIR.

I read the magikarp went up because the psa 10 population is 500 plus the pull rates are low and the set is sold out on the pokemon website

In Australia the Morty’s conviction has jumped to $300 and has sold out on eBay with only one copy a day being listed

The price you look at for magikarp i believe is japanese version for the cheap ones. It is not underrated, and I believe it will continue to grow!

Even the special illustration rares from temporal forces are 4 times as easy to pull as an alternate art. I doubt any of these will hold value besides the charizards, mew and maybe magikarp.

The card quality is awful though which has greatly reduced the number of 10's coming back. So graded could hold value.

Easy???!!! Kinda like obsidian flames????!!! Paradox rift is one of the toughest sets I ever opened still having pool that roaring moon I guarantee you that’s next to be on the rise I said it here first I warned everyone about Magikarp no one listened and that was when it was $20
