One thing too that jev mentioned that was a problem was the ttk for snipers. Snipers ADS speed in the beta was way too slow to match the ttk and because of that, they get outgunned most of the times by good players with reg guns.

so glad you mentioned the wobblyness of snipers in the game. I thought I was going crazy when I couldn’t hit my shots when I swore they were centered. Also I did experience the inconsistency of collats. I have a clip where I missed a triple collat but got at least 2 guys and the bullet went through the third guy. Again it’s just a beta and i hope they really do us decent on snipers

I think the ADS speed is fine, well maybe just slightly faster would be good but definitely not Longbow fast. Ive been playing COD since the OG Modern warfare and from COD4 to Black ops 2 I was nasty with a sniper, but as soon as Ghosts hit I was terrible and haven't been able to get the feel to sniping until BO6 beta. \I put it up to 2 things, 1 i finally found an okay sensitivity to compare it to 8 from the og days and 2 the ADS speed isn't too fast or too slow. would I like it slightly fast yes but other wise I think this ADS speed could help people like me who haven't been able to get into the swing of things in years.

That no scope delay got me killed more times than I can count, and I didn't realize the centering was off so that would explain some of the shots I took that I thought immediately after there's no way I didn't hit that. Still enjoyed it though, played the entire beta with the LR and it was pretty satisfying to use

I personally loved the bo6 sniping, was hard to get used to but when you find your sweet spot, it’s so fun, definitely agree that us snipers get the short straw in having to really grind the game to get simple tweaks, but over all I’m looking forward to this years cod! Hit a 3 in 1 with quick bolt attachment too so I wouldn’t worry about that weakening the collateral chances! Lettsss gooo G’s

Ever since Advanced warfare, something was so off with sniping and I’m not as good as I used to be. BO2 I used to easily drop 2 swarms back to back every single game if I hold a sniper, now I’m happy if I get 2 people in front of me

My bullets were not hitting the second person when I used Rapid fire. I probably shot through like 10 and thought collats were broken. Finally starting hitting them when I switched to FMJ rounds

it seems every now and then the devs trie to push quick scoping out of the game with small nerfs/changes to snipers that only regular quick scopers would notice and nobody asked for. One wild thing about cod for me is that they seem to forget that they just released one a year prior, and a year before that, and so on. "How should we make the sniper controls in this new game feel? I guess we will have to wing it since we have nothing to base it off of from last year." -some dev screwing up sniping while making the 100th cod P.s. on the topic of "is the dragunov popular?" i loved it in in cod 4/mwr because the dragunov didn't benefit from the stopping power perk so it was a nice to use because it let you pick others perks in slot 2 and didn't make you feel like you were hindering yourself by not picking stopping power. This didn't seem to be super common knowledge however because i didn't see many others use it often.

@FaZe Scope i need to add something too with the Sniping in Black Ops 6. ,,THE JUMP+ADS PENALTY''. If you played a lot of Hours in the Beta you recognize the ,,PENALTY'' when you ,,JUMPED+ADS'ed'' with mostly EVERY gun was so terrible imo, especially with the LR 7.62 SNIPER! If you ADS'ed normaly it was okay but not fast enough (felt clunky), but hopefully its faster when the game launches, but when you jumped with it (The LR 7.62 SNIPER) and then ADS'ed in it was horrible (clunky ASFK, makes it ,,not FLUID'' and doesnt have the arcady black ops (cod overall) feeling imo), but the worst part comes now if you were Tac Sprinting or noramlly sprinting then JUMPED+ADS'ed it was like ,,2 seconds slower'' to be in the scope. PLEASE mention this in the Next Video about ,,Sniping in BO6'' etc. And even when you jump from a stair or something else down and ADS in the Air after you hit the ground and you are in the Scope right, the Scope reticle centering thing went absolutely into the ground. I dont know why they made it like that. Let the reticle centered and not wobbly everytime when you do some minimal movement thing etc. THE PENALTY THINGS IN BO6 ARE TO HARD (FOR THE SNIPERS)! There's absolutely no need for sniping to feel so rough. With how strong SBMM is, they should have 0 worry about snipers being 'overpowered' since you'll just get put in matches with 'overpowered' enemies.

I’m probably a minority here but I personally enjoy quick scoping because it’s always felt like the camera became more stable than normal gunfights. This always helped my eyes and kept me from feeling the issues I have with motion sickness. And this year’s Omni movement is good it just doesn’t ever feel like there’s camera stability so aiming in this game actually makes me sick. Not paying 60 dollars again just to be sick for an entire year

My experience as a good sniper (not to be cringe) was that on day 1 I used the default LR class and very quickly was topping the leaderboard. Im talking 40-60 kills. It quickly shot the SBMM up slightly but Day 1 was overall enjoyable. Day 2: FIRST GAME ON i'm the 6th man randomly queued into Hydra's 5 stack... And from there is was sweats the rest of the beta. Shifty, Nade, Crim, you name it. My casual gamer friends were showing me clips they hit, and nobody in their lobbies used a single omni-movement the whole game - NPC lobby.

The best thing about Bo6 is how rewarding it feels to snipe in this game. I have not felt this since Bo3 with that game the snipers having no aim assist so it felt very rewarding getting kills as it was all you and not relying on aim assist. I do hope they just do those simple things you said to the snipers in Bo6 for launch and nothing else. Cold war sniping did not feel anywhere near this satisfying

I've never been so mad sniping in a video game. Literally like I was being punished for wanting to snipe. So clear with maps and Gun stats etc. beta was built for run and gun. Will say once you lose your sanity max level is not horrible. 10% ads speed, less flinch, and centering I think the snipers would be perfect.

I’m already so good at sniping in bo6, when/if they get a buff, I’ll be unstoppable 😭 But they are too slow for the simple fact that there is no long range maps so the sniping should be adjusted for that accordingly. They should be faster (not too fast of course) since the maps are so much smaller than any other CoD.

I feel like the movement shouldn’t be restricted as much. Should it be identical to the smgs? No, but it shouldn’t be 4x as slow. It takes 560ms to ads and pull the trigger from a tac sprint. And it takes 400ms to ads and shoot 4 bullets from tac sprint with a smg… also the first two bullets that hit you feel like one bullet and since the flinch stacks my crosshair goes from his chest all the way to the moon before I can even pull the trigger. I think the only people that didn’t have the flinch problem were people on 15 ping that can register their shots first.
