Those Boss speakers aren't very expensive. When I worked at Meijer we had a guy tag flipping and he took the barcode off the Boss speakers and used it to get Bose speakers. He did that with several items and went thru self scan. I was able to stop him on a few things, but I was overnight shift so he waited until I was gone before he came back...only problem was that the morning cashier who relieved me knew about what he was pulling since I had filled her in, and when he came back she spotted him and called the manager, who called Loss Prevention. I was glad that they shut him down, I got very good at stopping people shoplifting and tag flipping. We weren't allow to confront them or lay a hand on them, but I could be VERY helpful and stuck to them at checkout, or I would shut down the Uscan which I could do from the podium. More than once I shut down the entire Uscan which forced them to go to a manned checklane. I stopped several thousands of dollars of merchandise walking out the door. I can't stand thieves.

Not many ppl in the world can buy mystery boxes and then turn around few days later and sell them on whatnot. Its captive audience and its little to no risk bc they gonna sell. Awesome business model have so many avenues of resale and really think you both are awesome. may be we need to date and put buy info on the boxes then you know what it has in and when, where and how much. not sure how can hold a box for a year with out knowing what is in it. not good for some items were the price goes down with in months as new versions come out etc you would not be having to spend money on replacing batteries etc, which means you are spending time and money to put thing right that were fine when 1st buying the box
