"What's in a Name? - Slushy Man" (School Project)

Howdy! This is very different from my usual uploads, but this was our final project for my Intro to Theatre class. For this assignment, we had to write and perform in our own original 5-minute script. With this, we had to develop a story and then pick a scene from that story that we wanted to perform.
"What's in a Name?" focuses on Marco, a 17-year-old high school senior who has been accepted into the Radical Riders, the coolest skateboarding club in San Diego. However, when he gets initiated into this club, they'll have to announce Marco's legal name: Margaret Perez. In an effort to change his name before the big day, Marco goes to his teacher, John Wick, for advice. Mr. Wick decides to take him to the nearby 7/11, where they meet a mysterious man who might be able to help Marco... or... maybe make things worse.
We put a LOT of work into this project, but we had an absolute blast with it! We ended up getting a 100%! I'm excited to share this video with you all now, enjoy!
