Traveling is a great way to go new places and try new things. When we still have our health to move, we should keep moving and enjoy God's beautiful creation.
Our journey to Moab was not a walk through the park. We had an unexpected delay for over 6 hours from Honolulu to Seattle, and Seattle to Salt Lake City. The delays pushed back our driving time to late afternoon and we made a conscious decision to keep going and press on so we could go on a booked tour called "Moab in a Day" the next morning at 7:00 a.m.
I want to say, "Thank you God for protecting Susette and I as we drove for over 4 hours in the dark of night from Spanish Fork to Moab." We didn't get much sleep, but we were ready to go the next day as we were running on adrenalin.
We were very thankful for being able to do the tour. It was awesome to see the geological features of Arches National Park, Dead Horse Point State Park and Canyonlands National Park within Moab in the state of Utah!
In the ongoing journey of fighting cancer, we don't know how much time we have so make the moments count. It's good to recognize the opportunities and do them while we can. Much Aloha, take care, never give up, keep living the dream and to God be the glory!
