I love what you‘re doing! It’s great. Don’t be hard on yourself, perfectionism sucks! I think you just inspired me to pick up sketching again. I‘m really, really out of practice. I saw a video the other day where someone challenged themself to a „sketch a day“ for one year and she‘s been doing it for 4 years now. Thanks for the video and the inspiration!

So fun to see what people come up with. I am just wondering why you keep putting your self down? If you enjoy sketching just go do it, no need to say you are not a “good artist”… women need to be confident not always hammering themselves esp if you are clearly going out and sketching. That is GREAT!!!

Thank you so much! I think I just have a little bit of a hang-up about how things aren't yet turning out like I want them to. No way to fix it but practice! I was trying to stress my newbie-ness as well so that people didn't think this was coming from a professional artist perspective. Many of the sketch kit videos are from pros, from what I've seen.

I, too, fell in love with that Peg and Awl Sendak art roll. Even if it wasn’t terrific on it’s own, what artist could resist something called a Sendak? After pining for it for years, I finally pulled the trigger and bought it. I also bought a pouch in the same color AND had my initials put on both. Once I started I couldn’t seem to stop. I got the same color you have. I love your little kit. So handy. New subscriber!

Love your bag video. I too have the Sendak Artist Roll in brown n I love it. I was trying to find the multi mechanical pencil that held the different leads n eraser. (I think it had 5 slots) Was it call Pilot Hi Tech C? I’m in the US n couldn’t find it anywhere. Please advise where I can purchase one n the different leads/eraser supplies.

Have no fear; no one is a great artist. We are all on a journey of improvement, and we are all on different spots on that highway. The important thing is that we keep going regardless of when we started the journey. If I may, it's also important you don't go spending money on the things you see advertised by youtubers. That $175.00 sendak roll is NOT going to improve your skills. Nor will any of that other crap. All you need to improve is a pencil, a notebook and willingness to try.

You rip out the foam and put thin magnet along the bottom of each side. Works perfectly!
