Hey up Kayleigh, what's the reason behind using shot on canals n stots on commercials?

Shots sometimes ping off thicker lines where as stotz have a deeper groove, only problem is they move around more on the line. Generally shot doesn’t move/slip when it’s on the line so I prefer shot on lighter lines where it won’t ping off as easy when under pressure with shot but stotz on thicker lines

Interesting tips in this video and a lesson to be learned that you don't need to carry huge amount of kit to be successful on the professional circuit. I particularly like the point about being able to buy a quality seat base and add to it if you need to. 👍👍

I paid £240 for an original eight drawer BOSS Box back in 1990. The Wife would have severed parts of my anatomy if she new I'd paid that much but transport £240 into today's money and you're probably talking the same sort of value as Kayleigh's box (I know she got it for free before the PC Brigade start commenting) I've tried many boxes since then but have still got that one plus a six drawer version that I use as a "stock box". Suits my kind of fishing. Another great video Lass, have you had any requests for subtitles so them in t' South can understand your beautiful Yorkshire accent Ha Ha.

I loved my four draw, being only 5ft 5" my feet dangled on the six draw, loved the wheel and handle kit, throw carryall shoulder strap over the handle and hang the bag down the front, rod holdall over the shoulder and off I went. Brilliant piece of kit!

Yes around 1200 I think they are new, it is top of range box so quiet expensive but they do the same boxes with a metal frame quiet a lot cheaper. Happily use any of them if I’m honest

I think they are the DF30 bib and brace in medium I have some waterproof trousers as well which fit fine, there a little bit long for me but you can Velcro them right around your wellies so fit fine

Hi kayleigh.. You say you're seatbox needs to be level.. And Tommy pickering says.. Level you're seatbox and then lift the back legs by 15mm...25mm 🙏

Generally you won’t be far wrong if it’s level or near enough level, personal preference I guess. Mine generally is in the circle anywhere around the level dot so you have to probably expect it to be slightly out a few mm anyway unless you spend ages getting it exactly right, so generally mine will be out a few mm

What’s the point in buying any seat box ,that is height regulated by a ,solid frame ? no real adjustments to the height , other than upwards ,by adding expensive extra trays if your lucky to be above average height ! If u require 3 or 4 draw /tray units ,so it functions as a viable purchase for the majority of anglers ,with this design it’s not an option ,unless you like to fish on a swing …..not fit for use for most of us ….shame
