Literally all you need is whatever books are required (make sure you actually need them), a laptop/iPad, a notebook and a pen. That’s it.

Do not over buy a bunch of office supplies. You really don’t need them. Maybe some notecards possibly a notebook or two of you like handwriting and a laptop. You really don’t need a lot. Especially if you are living on campus

Buy a 5 subject notebook with the folders in between the sections! It's a lifesaver! I always take my notes in a notebook because it's faster for me plus I know I'll never lose them (technology is sketch sometimes)!

Yesss 5 subject notebooks in college are a godsend. Tbh it’s enough to hold everything and really and truly one of the only supplies you need in terms of paper/folders/binders (which take up too much space)/etc

You don't need one. Depending on the school you'll attend, usually they have enough calculators in each math classroom. Also you won't need it for the SAT or any of the standardized tests, you can just use a scientific one and you'll be fine. Also good luck with high school ☄

My high school loaned us them every class and my program at my uni had some you could “rent” for the semester. Some college level math courses don’t allow you to use a graphing calculator only a scientific one.

im 16 and it’s my first (full time) year of college - at my college most of the stuff we do is online, so I’m literally using the same backpack I’ve had for 2 years and just buying some notebooks, pens, pencils, white out and sticky notes. tbh that’s all you need for college. you don’t need to splurge on a shit ton of markers or colored pencils.... you just need a laptop and some notebooks, some highlighters and pens. textbooks are expensive so spend ur money where it really matters.

Lya Fonté A lot of people have the ability to get scholarships in the US, or at least where I’m from in the US because the college I go to offers loads of scholarships, but you have to meet the certain requirements. Personally it was a little challenging for me to get some scholarship because of the requirements they had, so I mostly rely on student loans to pay for college (which I’ll most likely regret when it’s time to pay them back).
