I absolutely love synths and drum machines through pedals. I spent a great deal of time in I, Parasite running synths through the guys pedalboards. So cant stress that enough. If you have some metal friends, dig into their pedal combos and see what you can come up with.

yeah, why only one pedal? Use all of them! And why not use all of the kick drum synthesizers at the same time as well? Make sure to increase tempo to at least 200BPM...

you're still missing the new Godeater module from Animal factory amplification. The eurorack version in a beast for bass! Currently I got all three of their/his distortion modules in my rack and it's a blast :D

Hey man. Just at the right time I found this video. On Saturday I am going to visit a big musicstore in Cologne with my TD3-MO (which YOU sold my with your video sir!!) in my bagpack, to check out some nasty distortionpedals. RIGHT IN TIME BABY. In my opinion the MO version is so great for live performance, ..but the new overdrive instead of the distortion from the normal version is a bit tame. I dont like it very much. Some suggestions what to check? Metal Muff I have read in comments. Something else?

By the way: Right now the TD3 runs through the dreadbox typhon wit its kickass distortion algorythms. If I could get one cheap second hand it would be my distortion pedal, thats for sure!!

If you do care about background noise using multiple distortions a noise gate pedal (like the EHX Silencer) with the distortions in the loop cools down that noise floor and can add some cool rhythmic elements depending on settings. Works pretty nicely on vocals and drums.
