9° in the D1 is 8.25° in a lower spinning head. I saw your one video. I know that you're playing less loft because of the spin but you don't think you're hitting it too low? The Apex average was in the 100 feet area?

Hey mate, thanks for the comment ✅ Honestly I don’t think so…potentially if I wanted a bit more carry then maybe but I’m generally trying to hit a pretty flat shot w very little curve, definitely prioritizing control over carry yardage.

@@alewisgolfyes everyone has a preference and I understood yours. Maybe I'm jaded because so many of the long ball hitters are high ball hitters and seeing it fly high and being able to cover dog legs and carry bunkers etc is my focus. I understand what the optimal landing angle is and that's about 36 or so degrees but I don't know what the optimal peak height is to reach that.

@@jeremyyoder33 Hitting it high is the way to go. Golf ball doesn't spin much now..drivers are designed for high launch and low spin. This line of thinking makes no sense to me. ...of hitting it lower thinking that means you have better control...you don't. I play a 10 degree GT2. Im a high ball hitter and always have been. I'll be 52 in January and driver carry is right at 280-285....total just over or just under 300 on a stock swing. If I want to try to control the ball more then I'll hit a little butt cut fade.

@@christopherroberts9594 you're saying that he's hitting it too low to be optimal?
