Super excited for you! If you haven’t already, check that your hospital is still doing newborn photos. I work in mother baby at my hospital and we stopped photos when covid started just to eliminate any extra unnecessary people coming into the room.

Lip balm is a must. I will definitely bring wipes to not have to deal with wetting hospital wipes. No nurse told me until the second day. It is so nice your hospital has someone to take newborn photos. I wish my hospital took a couple pictures. I hope you can breastfeed with baby girl!

For your cosmetic bags or any bags take pliers and squeeze the part the pull thing is attached to it will help the pull from slipping out of it

I had my second baby girl last week and my hospital didn’t offer newborn photos this time because of Covid. So sad because we also did them with our first daughter and we were planning on doing them again.

This is soo interesting, loved watching this, my hospital in the UK don't provide anything at all I didn't get any help from them and I wasn't prepared I hated my hospital I ended up moving myself to a maternity hospital to get help (I was also a first time mum) this is such a helpful video would recommend this video to anyone! I haaaaated my hospitals pads. They were so thick it felt like I was sitting on a rolled up towel. I went the adult diaper route and it was seriously the best. I also used the Mom Frieda Bidet instead of the hospitals....total lifesaver especially with stitches. Even my nurses were asking where I got it from!

Due to COVID-19 most hospitals have stopped taking pictures. They also provided 3 meals a day for birth mom and partner because we were unable to leave the hospital.

In New Zealand we have to provide our own diapers,pads, wet wipes, bottles if bottle feeding and clothing , wraps and blankets we literally get nothing provided 😅
