Loved your review and what’s in my bag. It made me’want to carry my beloved Kanken tomorrow ( poor thing hasn’t seen anything but my closet, as i have several bags I love to use). To get some padding on the straps, hou can get the shoulder pads. It helps a lot. I always carry them with me, even if they’re not on,just in case.

I really enjoyed your video! :) If you like the size of the classic and don't need the separate laptop compartment, the brand actually sells padded straps made specifically for the kanken classic!

I have these and like them too, although I recently ordered a structured bag organizer (for another bag) and if I like it, I'll get another one for my kankens. If you keep the seat padding in your backpack, it protects your laptop better and also your back! Your laptop may not fit the little slim pouch in the back but tbh I don't think it's an issue, it will stay standing up as long as there's other items in there as well.

yeah, I just really like putting my laptop into the pocket inside to keep it completely separate from the rest of my stuff so I never used the padding, but the bag organizer sounds like something I might check out as well!

Yours is so beautiful! I've been using my Sky Blue one for 7 years almost daily and it still looks very nice to me, no stains. I never drag it or put it on dirty surfaces or the floor. Only thing is I recently discovered at the bottom a hole (yikes) resulting from a crease that must have been chafing against my back. 😬 PS: Why did you remove the seat pad?

I never use the seat pad! it was just taking up space 🙃
