I have one of those pencil cases (same color and design, but I got it from amazon)and you comfortably fit two pens in each elastic piece on the said compartment (I don't usually carry around that many, but some people do)

I have that exact pencil case (in a different color) and fits EVERYTHING like rn I have at least 4 full post it note stacks in there. The only reason why I changed my pencil case is because I don't like digging for my things; but besides that it worked great.

My friend had the same pencil case and also carried so many pens. The whole pencil case gone lost but the saddest part😭 is that it was not lost someone stole it. We tried to find it everywhere but one day i found her one ofthe highlighter on toilet and soon her stationary supplies lying somewhere. We still couldnt find out who was doing these. So i m really scared to take these supplies out at school.
