I use a neck brace for quad racing. I have cracked one in the past. I a 100% sure i am alive and walking because of it. I have been landed on by a quad and all my gear allowed me to get up and push my quad off the track myself.

I can tell you experience that bell helmets are much lighter about dropped the first one I was handed due to being used to the weight of a Simpson one
