Hey Judy! I'm training to be an esthetician and thought you should know that you shouldn't keep that pedi-egg-thing in your shower! You should always file your feet when they are dry!! Because when your feet are wet the skin expands, so as you file the wet skin you think you're making it smooth but it can actually make the skin rougher. The second reason is for what you already said, it can leave your feet hurting/tender, because you don't realize how much skin you're actually taking off. So always file when dry and make sure to put on a moisturizer on right after. Also watch out for mineral oils in lotions, they act as a barrier and don't allow the moisture to actually penetrate. If it's in your first five ingredients I'd recommend a new lotion!

I also get psoriasis on my scalp as well. I currently have been using the brand Shea Moisture, their African Black Soap line for dandruff, psoriasis and eczema. It has been helping real well with keeping the psoriasis at ease. It def helps with the flakes and itchiness. The best shampoo and conditioner I've ever used in the past 10 years for my scalp. I had to buy mine online since they don't sell the brand in Vancouver, CA but I know the brand is sold at target down there.

I have the same ped egg from Revlon. It's a life saver in the summer time! But make sure you DO NOT use it when your feet are wet. It's meant to be used on only very dry non moisturized feet. Trust me, it's much more effective that way! :)

Hmm, I don't have eczema but I have a few cousins that do who love the mixed chicks replenishing oil on it, it's a natural oil that only has around 12 ingredients, smells slightly sweet, flowery, it's a fresh scent, it would probably be nice on your scalp, it's a fairly lightweight oil, wonder if it might weigh you down, if it does it can be a pre shampoo treatment, it's the consistency of jojoba oil so it might be fine left in, I like the mixed chicks replenishing oil on my skin and hair, African Black shampoo is good for scalp psoriasis I hear, there's one by Shea moisture that I hear is good

I used to LOVE that Aveeno scrub but I heard that the little scrubbies in it are made of plastic and apparently they're too big to be filtered through fish's gills causing them to suffocate! I haven't read any further research on it but supposedly all products with the plastic microbeads will soon be banned

I have psoriasis on my scalp too 😔 I've been using neutrogena' t/gel extra strength. Has that tar smell but it's worth using. I don't scratch as much and my scalp doesn't get irritated.

@itsjudytime try using a foot mask, you don't have to scrub away the dry skins, they will literally fall off after a week, you just need to put on a sock like plastic foot mask on your feet for an hour, rinse it off and viola!!! After 10-14 days, you will have a baby smooth feet. (Goodbye kalyo pati dry skin sa gilid gilid ng kuko)
