I can't remember the last time that I did any soldering due to hot works permits. Yet its interesting to hear what others do. Love that my dad told me don't talk to no one when you're soldering. Its too serious to be not ultra focused. One of the best tips I received. Keeps you in the right mindset.

I have a few velocity bags but they get very heavy when loaded, i prefer keeping it as light as possible.
