I was in Matilda earlier this year and it was so fun! I had the same script with the same rule that we couldn’t highlight in them. I played a big kid and it was SO FUN!

I was the student director in my last show (as well as a minor character) and I carried a fan with me too and a lot of the cast members used it. I was really glad that bringing the fan proved to be useful for the cast.

I would suggest either color matching foundation or acrylic paint for the shoe fix. I know foundation works really well on pointe shoes to stay, but I'm not sure how well the acrylic would stay. :)

What do you put in your vocal steamer? My one doesn't heat the water so should I do warm water?

@@mtmarsh2170 I usually just put cool water in it + it does a good job. But if I’m able to, I will use warm water if it’s convenient. Either work well for me but it depends on what you need😊☀️
