Yeah. I was thinking, hire me for a day and everything would be clean, organized and labeled, neatly stacked in glass containers and not plastic bags, and you'd get pantry and freezer inventory lists to boot, so you know what's there, what's running out, etc. I'm trying not to shudder as I watch, and this IS a look into her private life that's rather intimate, and I hate to sound so bloody judgemental. But still...brrr!
@vanessacarlson20556 жыл бұрын
I was actually thinking, she’s not so disorganized as she is lacking storage containers. I mean, each shelf/cupboard made sense, as in nuts and seeds on one shelf, spices on another, etc. A few Mason jars and she’d have all that easy to see and not piled on top of each other. 💕

I actually really liked this. Your “messy” kitchen actually makes me feel better. It seems like everyone has their life so together down to the smallest thing, and I’ve just never gotten there lol. It’s kind of cool :) keep up the good work!

I just really like seeing normal vegan eating patterns. You eat healthy but you're not completely obsessed with clean eating, vegan keto, hclf, fully raw, etc. You're not missing out on nutrients, you're not starving your body of fat and protein like so many mainstream vegans are. You just eat like a normal person and i love it. It's realistic

This video is great! Not only because of how relatable it is to have a kitchen in disrepair, but also to get a better idea of how to stock my own vegan food supply. An easy inexpensive way to organize your cupboards is by getting nice baskets and jars in differant sizes from the Dollar store or any store that has good deals on them. I like that big jar you have I need one of those for flour. You put all spices in baskets and then when you go cook you just grab the spice basket you need and bring to counter. You can even get baskets for the freezer and fridge. One basket for frozen veggies, one for fruits ect. My pantry needs a refresh too. I have a stand alone double door and I am thinking of refinishing it and give it some color.

OMG Yay! Your freezer looks just like mine 😂 I cannot open my freezer without causing an avalanche, but since I'm the only vegan in my home (and the most concerned about leaking and contamination) I have to keep all of my food on the top shelf... and any food that visitors buy (because my mother bargain shops and hoards enough frozen meat to feed an entire village) ... and our visitors always leave what they buy at our house... and because I'm vegan and my mother is Keto, gluten free, and generally picky, we usually can't eat it... but we feel bad about wasting food, so it just sits there until we can either find someone who will take it or feed it to my nieces, little cousins, or my boyfriend when they come over and haven't already eaten or aren't being picky just to be brats (boyfriend included)... It's great! (no it's not)😩😩😩 How do those of you who experience this deal with food left in your home by others that you can't eat but that you don't want to waste? Maybe I'm just doing it wrong.

Ghaaaa! Don't store tomato products in the can! Once the lining of the can is exposed to oxygen the acid in the tomato product breaks down the can and will impart a metalic taste, as well as leech metals into your food.
