At least if the handles fall back down they won't get in your way when you're reaching in your bag. I have the medium-sized one like this and it has 2 sets of handles long and short with the hardware so it's easy to get them to stay and it gives me somewhere to attach bag charms. Mila Kate I think.

The strap is very comfortable more than the neverfull I'm sure because this one is thicker. But I will come back and let you know more as I continue to carry her.🥰
