Don’t know if you are aware of it but some of the uk airports now have free water station once you go through security to fill up bottles. Not all but I think the bigger ones like Heathrow or Gatwick do it.

DEFINITELY agree with having things in clear plastic bags. I ignored this advice from a friend and on our 14 hour flight to Mauritius I was frantic, emptying my huge mum bag trying to find things. I think in one of your very early videos you said "Don't panic pack" and I am so guilty of this!! You just end up with a heavy hag with loads of crap you don't even use. #listentohannah

Most airports have water fountains you can use to fill the water bottle rather than buying a single use plastic bottle just to dispose of

When we travel with our 2 year old I always have water in his bottle and with small kids they usually allow you through with it... just give it a try.

Lesdimanches I did this once and they told me I couldn’t- I couldn’t get rid of the beaker and they had nowhere to tip the water for me- so I had to drink it 😳 spent the whole flight going to the bathroom 🙈🤦🏻‍♀️ haha

Be prepared for them to nitpick about your clear plastic bag with liquids in, I've tried to take those bags through a few times and they've made me put my stuff in a sealed bag :( depends on the airport though, so you'll more than likely be OK!
