The parents in the second story are despicable. When their children consistently tell them that something is going, the mother blows them off. I hope the mother especially, apologized. I can't understand people who are dismissive unless it happens to them. If the person isn't prone to lying or telling fanciful stories, they should be believed. I've lived I'm 3 haunted places, 1 with my husband. He believed me when I told him there was something in our apartment. We ended up moving due to his job. It was a relief.

The price of living in a society that believes in empiricism (something has to be proven in the world of sensory, factual experience to be real). That and people are egotistical and can’t handle the thought that their worldview might be incorrect. It’s interesting seeing Western vs Asian horror movies-in the West, half the movie is spent convincing the characters that something supernatural is happening and it’s only in the final act that they decide to do something about it. In Asian horror, the characters accept there’s something paranormal happening just about immediately and the movie follows them trying to escape and/or defeat the evil entity or phenomenon.

While I'm thinking while watching Western horror movies or the retelling of stories such ss these, if there's no logical explanation, why are you denying what you're seeing and hearing? I have never lived in a house with an attic, and the ones with basements are not that deep in the ground. So it doesn't feel like a legit basement. I don't think I can be comfortable with either one in the house. I have to blame the fact that I watched way too many scary videos since young. I am now 44 years old. I wonder if it would make sense to have a medium check the place first before you buy/rent a place. Then part of the deal is , if the place is haunted and you were not told, you should be able to get a refund and move out.

I'm a first time buyer and basements are not that common in the UK, which country are you from?. I viewed a 2 bedroom house with a basement but like you said not deep enough, the ceiling was low. There was a attic, my offer wasn't enough though. My favourite style is Victorian houses, love the airy high ceilings, period character. So it's my dream to own a big house with a basement, big attic. I always found them so fun but if it was haunted, it would scare the hell out of me.

No luckily not, the Mrs is here but if i ever watch these things i pray from now on. My Mrs said she heard something downstairs so i went down to look, saw nothing and the moment i walked into the garage from the door leading from my house into the garage i heard something falling so i thought she was trying to scare me, the dustbin lid came off and ended up a good couple of meters away from the dustbin, went picked it up put it back on and told her very funny and she said she did not do anything as she was in the bed. Minutes later the entire plastic dustbin fell over in the kitchen i was freaked out. And now you hear stupid knocking and almost like scratching, i have a priest coming in the week to bless the house though. I try not to give it attention at all but i can say with my hand on the bible it is not fun and i will never watch anything where chanting is involved. It summoned something for sure and i hope everyone says a prayer before watching those paranormal investigations. It is real and it is scary if you cannot see whatever is doing funny stuff. It is really not fun and games. 🙌

Jesus tells us in His book that He gives all who believe in Him His Authority over all wicked spirits and in HIS name we have His authority to evict them and they MUST leave! The name and title JESUS CHRIST terrifies them, the Bible tells us that demons tremble at the mention of HIS name, there is power in HIS name when those who believe in HIM speak it. There are people who truly believe in "good" witches, such as "white" witches, wiccan are one example, these people are deceived, this is a lie of satan and his demonic forces that you must not engage in or have anything to do with. There is just one Holy power and that comes ONLY from our Father in Heaven and His son, God, Jesus Christ. Demons are much more intelligent than any of us, they will use tricks and deceit even making us believe a psychic has evicted them, anything that makes us believe the Bible is wrong or there is power outside of Jesus Christ, they will use!
