This game is a favorite of students, a fun take on charades! Using pantomime, students each pull an item out of an empty bag or box. Their goal is to make it easy for the audience to guess what the item is.
Performers show how they feel about the item on their face, then show the size, shape, and weight and use the item in some way. The performance ends when the performer folds their hands in their lap (no guessing until it’s over!)
A great pre-writing activity, good for making inferences, and just for having fun!
