Take out 60 and the 3 iron and put in the 52 an a 7 wood. You don’t need the 60. You can do almost everything also with the 56. And the 7 wood is so versatile in the rough, on the fairway or to chip. Try it!

Takomo I want your irons.. I would take out the 60 ... I carried both 56 and 60 for a few weeks trying to compare ... both did a reasonable job in the bunker but I used the 56 way more from 60 yards in ...as an aside I ended up using the 8 iron more and more when the path was clear closer to the green, watching Pat simplify that approach helped me no end. From mates over here in Asia, Takomo are getting a great reputation.

I was in the same situation and took out my 4iron. Wasn't too big a gap between that and my hybrid. Best to gap test the 5wood 3iron and 4iron and see if there is any overlap. Oh, and Takomo I want your irons. Want to try the light shafts Great work as always Liam

Takomo I want your irons. Hi Liam, I have just checked the specs of the 101 and the 3 iron, there is only 0.5 degrees difference in loft. Personally I would drop the 4 iron especially if the 3 iron is a ‘go to’ off the tee. Great video and a problem we all have finding that combination of distance and gapping.

TAKOMO I WANT YOUR IRONS Love the look of both the bag and the irons, although I don’t know how long they would stay clean with our lovely wet weather! For your bag, I would add in a 52 to bridge the gap between your pitching wedge and 56 and remove your other PW. It's either that or take out the 3i and use driver/woods instead? Other than that they look great and you hit them really well, even if off centre!

Hi Liam. I’m a big fan and watch all your videos. A 60 degree wedge is great in the summer but now winter is approaching take it out and put in your 52. Grass isn’t cut quite so short and the ground can get very wet and muddy. Oh by the way Takomo I want your irons! 👍

Looking to treat myself and something free will always keep the wife happy! I'd consider taking the 101T P wedge out. Same loft and not much difference in yardage. Sounds like the 201 is more versatile for your game.

Takomo I want your irons. Have you tried mini driver for when the big dog is misbehaving? I like 58 and 54 for my wedges. You can always choke up on PW to fill the gap in distance. You're missing a flask with favorite beverage to celebrate birdies!!!!! Takomo needs to add hybrids to the line-up!

Takomo I want your irons. What is the loft on your PW? I have a PW at 44 deg. A GW at 49 deg A SW at 54 deg and a 60 deg. Even spacing between wedges works for me. Simples.

Hi Liam, Takomo I want your irons, leave out your 4 iron and your 60 degree and substitute a 7 wood and the 52 degree. Practice with a 56 (with 9 degrees bounce), it will do everything your 60 degree will do but better and with more forgiveness and you will have a high and low option off the tee on tight holes by keeping your 3 iron and adding the 7 wood. The 7 wood is such a flexible club all over the place including pitch and runs from greenside roughish lies

Take the 201 pitching wedge out. What was wrong with pitch with 52😊 Many comments suggest removing 3 iron and replacing with 7 wood I disagree. Your 5 wood and 3 iron give more options from both tee and fairways in U.K. course with the weather that we play in. Loving your hidden gems series. Takomo, I want your irons! I would keep the driving iron (3U), remove the 4 and add a gap wedge - that's because you want to keep the 2 PWs... otherwise I would ditch one of the PW, add a GW. Then you can "play" with the long irons versus fairway woods!

Takomo I want your irons I use Garmin and had the same issue… but I used the Garmin over 10+ rounds to understand what distances I usually leave myself and what I feel uncomfortable hitting. I took out my 60 as I can do the same things with my 56 as my 60. Also, I would get very steep on my 60 so I never used it for long shots so it was basically only in my bag for around the green and bunkers. Now I mainly use my PW and 56 around the green and my 56 in the bunker. You have the data, definitely use it to your advantage and understand what clubs you use the most.

Takomo I want your irons. Take out the 3 or 4 iron and use the 5 wood more. You usually hit those long irons class off the tea but youve said yourself on other videos, you should use fairway woods more so get using that 5 wood. Or take out your putter and use your umbrella like a snooker cue

Takomo I want your irons. Maybe the lob wedge (60 degree) isn't needed on your parkland course with plenty of grass. If you don't want to get rid of that change the top end of the bag and take out the 3 iron. It's down to what you don't want to get rid of, and what you would describe as "go to" clubs that you won't take out of the bag.

For a full graduated set: Driver, 3wood, 7wood, 3 driving iron, 5,6,7,8,9,pw,50,54,58. Loft of pw should be traditional 46. And remaining irons 4 degrees apart.

I would suggest hybrids in place of the 3 and 4 irons. You can also use a 56 degree wedge for almost shots by changing the angle at the ball.

Like when a video pops up before the next episode in the HIdden Gem series - makes the wait seem a little shorter 😅 As for clubs - i think you need to get rid off your 5 wood because you confessed on more than 1 occasion that you dont like using the woods, plus you know how well you hit your irons so you've no need for that wood. But i am sure there are people with more expertise who will advise you better 🤷‍♂

Takomo I want your irons. You Know you have a "gap" in your distances, and you need a 52 wedge. You should get rid of the 60 degree wedge, and consider a 58 wedge instead of your 56. The 58 will give you more flexibility and will also be fine out of bunkers ( the once in every 3 rounds you need it!) I also think you should keep the 3 iron ( you are good enough) and replace the 5 wood with a 3 wood. You dont need both a 3 iron and a 5 wood, they are the same club. Keep up the good work. Loving the Ireland trip.

@@JamesCloughley A 3 iron is far more useful than a 5 wood. Not everyone can hit a 3 Iron, but Liam hits it off the tee with great effect. Good low handicap players should be using a 3 Iron.
