Any plans to update the 13-part series? We are watching these on Prime and my preschooler and first grader can now explain concepts like redemption and know about things like canonization and the Septuagint. Awesome. Unfortunately, in the first 8 episodes (parts 1-4 is as far as we’ve gotten) there are some issues that prevent us from ever showing these at church. The representation among the puppets is the major issue. Brother Louis is the only puppet who is not white (or blue but with white characteristics) and he is a very poorly done caricature whose major contributions are few and who pretty much just scats for the first episodes (and by this I mean he just speaks gibberish in an exaggerated Sammy Davis Jr voice). Also, the old lady puppets praise Donald Trump. 🫢 Clearly these were made back when nobody knew he would turn out to be the Antichrist. Still, it’s confusing for kids and could easily be edited out. So much about the What’s in the Bible? series is phenomenal and I would love to feel better about my kids watching it. I’d contribute to a crowdfunded update. 😊
