I’ve had the current model for about nine months and I’m very happy with it. I’m not made of money, but if I thought this new model had features that made it a game changer, I’d buy it. The changes are slightly more convenient, but there is nothing that makes it worth upgrading. I’m sticking with the one I’ve got.

Hello ! My name is Frank i am from the high North of Québec Province. 6 months ago i bought the Work Sharpener Elite Ken Onion Edition and the Grinder! I am so very please with my equipment and recommanded it to many of my friends and surrounding! I am retired so i started a little buisness to keep me busy sharpening any kind of Knives or tools with precision and great results! I had up good stroping even ceramic rods! I also have a nice knives collection of pocket knives , Hunting and utility knives! But now i see Mk2?? Is that meen i am missing on something cause already invested quite a few $$$ In the Ken Onion full equiped even spare straps and stroped ones! I hope i still hv my waranty and that my equipment will last! We almost dont see my system on KZbin exept the Mk2 :( I am not ready to invest in a new system already cause at this moment my equipment works very well! Sincerly Frank from the North!

I would always use the lowest speed, else the steel can get way to hot.
