We used to have multiple seater outhouses at Boy Scout camp back in the day. When you were a kid it didn’t matter much. It was a good time to shoot the bull with your buddies and crack jokes.

I never could. I remember the multi hole outhouses at Treasure Island. I hated them. I would wait until meal time when everyone was at the dining hall or late at night when all were asleep. Same with communal showers.

Awesome area, nice Party John... hahaha Always cool to explore creepy structures, you'll never know what you'll find. We have an abandoned sheriff's station coming up. Cheers Cliff

There is no chance I would share a toilet. Really enjoyed the explore. That area is really beautiful. Thanks so much for taking me along. Please take care

Cliff, Actually it allows even distribution of waste which allows longer use. Pretty clever. Cheers, Rik Spector

I wouldn't use that outhouse with strangers, dont think I'd use it with any of my kids even. Nice video. Wouldn't you love to see it back in the day, whatever it had been. That campsite was massive, probably could camp in that space behind it. I really don't see how you didn't get lost where you were. Everything looked the same for me. Safe travels and thank you for making my day brighter. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Nice Outhouse! I’ve shared a 2 seater outhouse at girlscout camp, but there was a wood divider between the seats. Although, the wood didn’t go the whole way to the seat. It was about 6” above the seat, so you could see each others’ butts! 🤣

I enjoy your covered bridge series, don't know that there will be a big interest in an old outhouse series. ;-) Boy Scout camps had multi hole outhouses in the 60's and 70's. Don't know if they still do. I would wait until late at night when everyone was asleep to visit the outhouse.

I think that the purpose for the three seats is that the hole would last longer due to disrltribution.(?)

I'm thinking there was probably not a latch on the inside either. In this case , speaking of my privacy, one person at a time with a latch on the inside of door please. If you have an emergency, go find a nearby tree to hide behind.🤣🤣🤣

If the manmade pond was part of the EUB Camp, maybe it was their water source and they may even have performed immersion baptisms in it. Just guessing... As for the outhouse, that was unwholesome and unholy. I'd rather take my chances going in the forest.

22:35 How I feel when stepping into the campsite restrooms on a Monday after an extended Summer weekend. Encountering nature can require some adaptation. (Peanut Butter can help slow down that case of the runs.)

Well the Outhouse could have been for kids if it was a summer camp of some kind or for workers back in the day, men were different back then and would not have cared one bit if they were taking a $#!7 sitting right next to someone.
