im looking forward to the next video :) i live near the black forest in south germany, there are actually a couple of places here where you can find gold. i plan to go out prospecting in summer. a friend of mine found a gold nugget in a creek but the most gold found is realy fine stuff in washholes so you need a sluce to find anything. nuggets are realy rare@@ErnieDionne

I always wonder about the stuff that spills out of the cone mold. Is that lighter stuff and doesn't have gold in it ?

Yes, you’re correct. It’s called, “slag” and also “mat.” I’m hoping the precious metals aren’t spilling out with it since the precious metal is heavier than the slag and may. What I’m in the process of doing is building a bigger furnace to accommodate the #12 crucible that I just purchased. My present crucible is a #5. That should stop the over spill that I’m having right now.
