You may observe some typical Finnish design traits. Curtain rails mounted at the ceiling, not hung from the wall. Plate rack on the bottom shelf above the sink, so it drips directly into it. Door handles, not knobs (but it's the same in all Scandinavian countries). Possibly a central vacuum cleaner system. And a sauna which definitely isn't fake😆

I wanted to see the tour of an apartment with a sauna (as I understand this is quite typical of Finland). Did not disappoint! :)

How much is the rent of this unit in Finland?
@marialindell98743 жыл бұрын
It's propably relatively high since it's a new building. (But again, for me 900 is way too much for an apartment with a seperate bedroom, kitchen.)

@@pinoyexpatinfinland2183 Defenetely not that expensive in Kajaani, as asked. It's small provincial city. Right now costs for 2 bedroom flat start from 700€, check Vuokraovi(.)com, also in English

Sauna is originally from Finland and it is a significant part of the Finnish culture and Almost every house in finland has a sauna. in fact there are more saunas than cars in finland.
@mikrokupu3 жыл бұрын
Apartment saunas are common in Finland. I had a small rental apartment for years, with a sauna that I used as storage space :) Not a sauna person myself.
