This is interesting to me. I use to have chronic bronchitis. The albueterol helped, but it was the dry powder flovent that got me over it. Great video. Take care.

Thank you very much. The model I took apart is a combo product that includes fluticasone (aka Flovent). Kind of the 2.0 version. Bet you are glad not to be suffering from bronchitis these days, huh? Stay well my friend!!

This vid saved me from taking mine apart. I have a Trelegy and it supposedly has THREE medicines in it. I wonder if there are three of those coiled up med strips in mine or if there are two meds in one of the strips. The way the gears click when you slide the trigger case, reminds me of a view finder. Idk why lol. It was really weird breathing in dry dust meds in the beginning. My lungs were like "what the heck is this?" it felt so gross like breathing in sand. But I got used to it. Still gross though js. lol ha ha thanks for the vids. I use youtube for everything. Install gas water heater, change my dryer belt, light my gas dryer pilot light, try to fix my front loader. lol cheers.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate the feedback/info and you taking the time to post a comment! Interestingly enough, according to the Journal of Aerosol Medicine and Pulmonary Drug Delivery the Trelegy is also a 2 blister strip design. BTW, the view finder reference totally makes sense... the motion and the sound are very familiar. I agree, YT is my go to for figuring out how to better visualize or investigate repairs, etc.

Can you do a teardown video for the Turbohaler?

I don't have one of those delivery devices that I can tear down but I believe this is a different form of metered dose delivery. These have a med reservoir which can be seen at the following site: www.researchgate.net/figure/Primary-functional-design-elements-of-a-dry-powder-inhaler_fig2_7471346

Thank you so much!! This is so helpful with my school project, but there’s one thing I didn’t really get it, how does the counter work? Does it decreases every time the patient take a puff? Or every time you open the lid? It’s a little confusing… but anyway thank you for the video I enjoyed it

And I never knew about this!!!! Super interasting

It is a rather clever 2 in 1 delivery device. Given the name of some of the parts I'm guessing the patent holder has a fascination with cars. But that's just a guess 😁
