+Kristján Ólafur Ólafsson it is a separate camera, doesn't use the cell phone camera at all. Most phones have a digital zoom but this has a 10x optical zoom. We had a ton of explanation on the camera but edited it out to keep the flow of the video better since it was getting long.

Whether it is necessary or not is totally subjective , but there are some tests showing that the actual camera on the moto z is better in quality. And also you can get a better bluetooth speaker or projector for about half the price!

Hi, how long did Lincoln use his Moto? We had the moto z play, battery bloated just before it reached 1yr, motorola had to replace the batt, then a few months after, screen no longer worked. Upon close inspection, there was a hairline crack, not sure if it was bec of the batt bloating or when moto went into my phone. Then a few months later, my gf’s moto z play batt bloated too lifting the screen from the frame. This was an incredible concept, we would have loved using the phones, but the overall exp was traumatizing. There was a huge potential especially for the moto gestures, loved how to turn the flashlight on and the speech to text while driving was ahead of the others
