Hi Aliya dear, here is my(mom of two kids) suggestion that you can add to ur list , buy a feeding pillow, u will never regret the decision. Don’t use pump for milk extraction before 45days, it may lead to over supply of milk. Baby may face difficulty because of fast letdown if it develops over supply due to early pumping. Don’t panic if milk supply dint establish early and start pumping. Direct feeding is the greatest and the best way to feed the baby. Buy rubber sheets for baby diaper change, cut it to small pieces and keep it, it will be handy for use. And lastly 10 diapers for Hosp won’t be enough, take a full packet. Finally congratulations and happy motherhood.

U must use Bum cream during every nappy change. Its helping our baby and never had nappy rash(touch wood). Would suggest not to use pacifier and don't let the baby get used to it. Maizena (corn flour) is the best for nappy rash. May God Bless.

Hi Aliya…. Congratulations for to you and irfan… I feel you need to add few more things in your baby bag.. 1. Bring a lot of diaper because newborn wet their diaper a lot… Baby will get cranky when diaper is wet… 2. Bring few more wet wipes.. 3. Please bring few pair of mitten and socks 4. Bring more pads… you will bleed a lot for first 4 days… 5. You need to wear sock to avoid cold feet 6. Bring snacks and juices because after delivery you will get hungry you need food to keep you active… 7.Make sure you have your husband or someone else with you after you deliver your baby… You will feel very tired and hungry…. You need help for the first 6 - 8 hours…. A small advise, prefer to have small and immediate family for visiting you and your baby in hospital and in your house for first 2 weeks because you need to bond and understand your baby… You need time to manage a big change happen in your body…. Please take care of your health…. You need to be healthy and happy… always take your time to recover from delivery… Don’t stress yourself…. Ask for help always when you need… Lots of love, Hemma

Whatever she explained and took in her bag seems very useful. And Irfan doesn't have to feel odd or no need to explain too much about it. In fact the way she explains and talks, make me feel like keep listening to her. Irfan you're doing a good job. But let her talk too. You don't let her talk, without interrupting her... Let her explain more.... We would listen to her for hours. Whatever she spoke made total sense to me as a woman. She also likes what she's doing it's her personal. Let her enjoy it. I have not faced rash issues for my son Alhamdulillah. He is 5 months old. I'm using Pampers active baby tape style diaper and mothersparsh wet wipes. Change soiled diapers immediately and pee diapers every 4 hrs. We bathe him regularly. One piece of advice nobody will tell you is to use Dr. Harvey Karp's 5S method to put the baby to sleep😅 Buy a white noise machine or alexa or nest will also do. May Allah make it easy for you and bless you and your child with a good health.❤

Nice! One more thing you might want to add is Nipple cream which you will need when you start to feed. Another thing is a good baby bottle that will stop reflex. You can decide that after the baby is born. Things that I wish people told me before the kid was born. 1. The real challenge is after the baby is born. Do not stress about baby not eating, the baby will figure. 2. For some people the milk production might be less or more. If it is less do not worry and feel dejected. Babies grow well in formula too. 3. Sleep cycle will be interrupted. You might have to wake every 3 hours to feed the baby 24/7. 4. Go out and meet other new moms to get a break 5. Small nail cutter for the baby. Oh babies do have sharp nails and they might scratch themselves accidentally
