Love your videos! The actual use of the "ridges" of the knives is-Jimping - Repeating ridges or cuts. These may be decorative (such as those on the spine), or used for additional grip on the knife (such as those on the thumb rise). The SOG knife features jimping on the thumb rise and further forward on the spine. Armed Forces survival knives like Rambo had were used for pilots in aircraft that could cut their way through the fuselage of a helicoptor or airplane in case they crash landed.

The owner took the knife right out of his hand claiming it was a knock off. Lane got a tour of the plant and a history. When he was leaving the owner placed a new in the crafted wood box a new knife with jewels valued at over $500. It always stayed in the box and is as good as new, What a story and what a treasure. Civivi's are really nice knives. Very underrated even as a mid tear brand. They're actually made by WE knives who also manufactures Something Obscene Co knives. One of my absolute favorite brands for the price.

About the only way you're going to make your money back on that box is to sell them on FB marketplace where you won't have to pay any fees. Cause the fees are going to eat up what little profit you might get back.
