@skatethelake4 жыл бұрын
yeah but he turns the board with our ankle and foot not by leaning the knee in or out
@Quadruple_curious4 жыл бұрын
I used to skate ‘trucks shaking while board sliding’ loose and now it’s a more standard normal loose. For me it wasn’t a qualitative difference, and if I leaned heavy I’d get wheelbite. I think because he’s not using soft bushings or anything, he gets the benefit of being able to lean heavy while turning, but not get wheelbite. This way he wouldn’t have to focus on precise ankle movements like Muhammad mentioned. This is my guess on the difference between the usual front foot turn and ishod’s

Buy a second set of bushings. Replace the bottom stock bushing and washer with a second top bushing and small top washer. That's it, now you can crank your bolt tight so that it's below the kingpin and still have super loose trucks. There's better ways to do this tbh.

@Jason Hufford Totally!!! When 148 (Indy 144) size came out, it felt so much better on my 8.125 than 147 (Indy 139) but some tricks and things did feel different and I had to adjust, especially back tails, because the wider truck meant I had to get the board round and land more precisely than on narrower trucks. I did find it much more stable overall though and had more truck to grind on. Personal preference is a big part of it too.
