I say all the former bandmates get together and form “taking back- taking back Sunday “

I agree yes. But how many former band members did tbs have anyway? I watched a vid the other day that said there has been SOOO many that they made "i used to be in taking back sunday" t-shirts. Lol Cool, but for me, fred and the lead singer has always been the face of tbs. And i would love a real acoustic version of this sound.

This song has one of my favourite bridges I've heard. So many songs the bridge feels likes it's there just because it's supposed to be there, flip to the relative minor and burn 30s, this song it really changes the texture of the song, it's really aggressive and then just sublimates into this nice, airy reprieve. The drums in particular are really strong.
@TheColorFred3 жыл бұрын
I really appreciate that. This song went through a lot of changes before we got it right. And I agree about the drums. Thanks

Fred man I’ve never commented on a KZbin vid before. But just wanted to say you guys (TBS) were my favourite band growing up, and you and Rubano brought such musicianship to the band. The solo at the end of Miami being a particular highlight that I never managed to learn haha. I didn’t manage to see you guys when you were still in the band but I saw them in the New Again era and you were sorely missed. Louder Now and WYWTB are by far TBS’s best albums (maybe TAYF is close!). Those records are a big part of the reason I started playing guitar back when I was 15/16. The Color Fred’s stuff is great too haha! Much love dude.
@nicklane64733 жыл бұрын
Man,I was lucky enough to see them once during that time. I've seen every line up since TAYF. Like em' all but that lineup with Fred was my personal favorite,too. No offense to the rest of those dudes. Just seen them in September,2019 in StL.
@samuelboome35843 жыл бұрын
@@nicklane6473 super lucky bro. Yeah no hate to John and Shaun and even Fazzi but Fred and Rubano just elevated them. I read a comment somewhere a while back saying that now Eddie’s no longer in the band (which is also a damn shame) they should bring Fred back on lead guitar and put John on rhythm instead. I know it would never happen but it would be dope haha. Fred is in a different league to John as a guitarist
