I was an immigrant in Denmark for 3 years. The grey grey grey of weather and clothing was Really something to get used to for me as well. We lived in Blovstrød and then a village outside of Gilleleje. Your chandeliers and jewelry are beautiful. I hope you see a lot of success with them.

I lived in Denmark for just over 4years, attended technical school in Copenhagen before relocating to Sweden where I now reside...I don´t mind the cold weather and the dark days in winter, also love the spring in Scandinavia and the long days...but nice interesting interview...and I try to compare my experiences when I lived there to this interview and there are some similarities.

Xavier: Thank you for your excellent videos, and your handsome smile. I always revisit the videos of all the countries, that you have interviewed plus extras. Acapulco and Singapore are the favorites of this Chicago born, raised, and earned all my income to travel, and help none beggars. Sadly, I had to leave Chicago, due to the over sixty years of GENOCIDE, but really there are no safe places, so everyone has to be alert, except for Singapore.

Though not Jamaican born, both my parents were born in Clarendon, Jamaica. I was born in the UK, but now live in The Netherlands. I lived and worked in Copenhagen, Denmark for 6 months of my life. To be honest I loved the city, though as time went on I noticed it was a very racist place - outside Budapest, Hungary, the most racist place I have ever lived in. I was often refused entry to night clubs and the police just kept on stopping and searching me. The Danes like to think of themselves as a 'liberal' people, but in fact they are not. I was in Denmark as part of my job as an IT specialist. I get much more out of life living here in The Netherlands and would never live nor work in Denmark again.

Great interview, with a wonderful, well rounded person, whose experiences I enjoyed listening to. However, I have to be real honest with you, I have no desire to visit Denmark. I try not to be racially prejudiced, but I'm pretty much thru with visiting these Anglo-majority countries, any place where I am likely to see more white faces than I see in Dallas no longer appeals to me. Ghana, NIgeria, Jamaica of Course and Trinidad are the next travel stops on my itinary...#itsablackthing ! That's just how I roll right now!
