Asian Boss I appreciate you taken the time to interview N.Korea women and I thank them both for their story. When women are living in an isolation such as N.Korea the cruel treatments goes beyond human treatment.They live in a silent state of mind and have block their mind in order to survive.This is happening world wide not just in N.Korea where women have no voices. As a nation of people we must speak up about this, to protect future generations of miss treatment of women as well as men and children. Are We Not Human? It seem that the animal kindom have a better understanding of treating their kind. Human beings is said to be the higher form of intelligent. I wonder if so.

Why are they strong? While in South Korea (an assumption), they are being showered with praise. Where is the risk? When women suffer, most people (men and women) will pay attention and may even act to stop or at least mitigate the situation. When men suffer, no one cares. We are predisposed to protect women. Men are disposable. Eh.

Incredible strength on the part of the women to share what they saw and heard. Despite the pinned comment, I'm certain that this behavior is widespread in North Korea. When there is no religion, especially Christianity present, the moral character of the masses tends to go down to the sewer and men will mistreat the "weaker" sex like animals or pieces of meat. So sad.

For those who are wondering why they just can't do a revolution and be free from all the oppression, here's one of the reasons: in one of the videos i've seen about north koreans, they actually want to have a revolution. But because transportation and communication is very limited and controlled by the government, they can't communicate to neighboring towns, hence they can't have a massive revolution. And the ones that are actually brave enough to start one would always be suppressed by the government since there are only a few of them .. so as much as they want to, it is very hard for them, and also because they don't have the artillery to combat the government ..

Of course everyone feels bad that many of their fellowmen are affected. If they have to interview Filipinos, they should specifically do it on Mindanaoans not the people in Manila cos they most probably know too little about it because Mindanao is very much separated to its other continents because Mindanao is occupied mostly by Muslims, so people in the city do not know the family traditions of Muslims.. It started with a conflict between families. Plus, education in Mindanao is very suppressed so it is not as hard to recruit people because of poverty and lack of education. The news of recruitment happened since 2015 so basically speaking, government cannot really control Mindanaoans who are Muslims because it is like a tradition of clans.

Maybe there are some people who use feminism as a ploy to get what they want. But I'm pretty sure that's a small minority. There's never been a time that feminists were simply the norm and didn't experience criticism, so you can't say it isn't called for. You can't say equal rights are not worth fighting for after this video. Besides, countries with better rights for women generally see better living conditions for all people.

Then fight for it. The North Korean government would execute you on the spot for trying to equalise all life across that country. Words won't cut it - actions, violence, conflict, chaos, retaliation and bloodlust are the true beauties in this world. To become heartless and soulless is the way of overcoming immorality and accepting prejudices plaguing whichever sector of societies is been targeted. War is the embodiment of unaligned interests, conflict and beliefs of one another. I take only the most carnal enjoyment of living. Malice, sadism, masochism, psychopathy, sociopathy and oppression. As well as, altruism, happiness, kindness, generosity, selflessness. Hedonism and Nihilism consist me and make me whole.

the thing i cant understnd is why the left in the USA are screeming for equal this and that, when they are NOT victimized they are privileged above all women on this earth. That knowlege makes me opposed to the feminism of the left in western society. They do not shout for the rights of women around the world, only themselves. But they do have the right to do any job they choose and yet they do not do the high rise window washing or the crane drivers, or the builders, or the sewage workers, they want to be head of the board, leader of the country, blah blah. so annoying their spouting like kids in a playground, when women in other countries are being taken to hell and back maybe

+League of Kappadin Violence only begets violence, I truly believe that. You can't convince others to change their ways through force, they only retaliate as if they were they ones wronged. Nor can you expect them to change when you do not hold yourself accountable for your own actions. Peaceful protest & open conversations have done much more throughout history, even if the process is slow and seems to take a step back every now and then. Even open conversation & agreement between the likes of the US government & North Korea's leaders has not been fully considered. If people everywhere stopped clamoring for war between the two but kept their attention on diplomacy instead, who knows how much things could change? Without wartime propaganda to subjugate the North's population, leadership would have to change tactics to stay in power or risk upheaval. Whereas open war would undoubtedly exact a massive human toll, possibly millions if nuclear or biochemical weapons became involved.

I am not sayin modern US isn't like this, because it still is, but in pre-Prohibition America, it was hella common for a husband to come home, friggin' wasted, beat his wife, and go to bed like nothing happened. If you watch the Honeymooners, which is the '50s, Ralph jokes about beating his wife every episode. The wife couldn't do much about it. It was assumed that she did something wrong to infuriate him by men and women alike. This is actually what helped to lead to Prohibition. Like I said before, this still happens. Just feel like it was at its height at that time period. I'm sure Canada has had the same problem.
@TheEvilmooseofdoom
@TheEvilmooseofdoom 7 жыл бұрын
Hella common? Perhaps among some segments of society but it was far from universal. Regardless of how much it happened by 1920 it was indeed a crime to beat your wife. Ralph may joke, but he never raised a hand and he knew if he did he'd go to jail for it. The sexist attitudes of the cops were no help to women though but it was a crime and it WAS frowned upon by most of society.

what rubbish lol, the USA has NEVER been ike that, they always had God as the foundation of the people, it was not a rape society never was but maybe in the future as the left is forcing the family further apart. God made man to be the one front and woman to help him guide him through life, he would defend and support his wife and kids, he would provide for his wife and kids, and was considered reprehensible if he did not defend and provide. Now the feminist wants to be above and in front of men, meaning they want the roles reversed , the trouble with that is, women wont protect and defend, they tear down their own family and home, the balance is important. If the woman is on her own, then of course she has to be all that for her kids if she has any but there is something missing in this situation,

I think I could relate to this so maybe I could help answering. When you've experienced so much painful things in your life and already suceed escaping from them, crying is the least thing to do bc it just makes you feel ungrateful for yourself. Like, I'm happy now, I'm alive and I don't need any sadness to ruin the feeling. At least it's what I felt years ago when my family were freed from debts and My parents divorced after 23 years of painful marriage. It's like "Finally, it's over". I don't say they aren't supposed to cry, but, imagine.. maybe they're just so tired of crying over and over again when it happened and now they only wanted to tell the stories without having to remember the actual feeling.

I understand, from our perspective it is hard to understand women are treated as less than animals, just like objects. How do these women survive with no mental illnesses? In Germany or the US some can get already bulimia, depressions or suicidal if somebody says bad words at them in a text message. Any way, Asia is still widely a patriarch area in the world, even though I personally consider the Asian women being tougher than men here.

Peter Kroll it definitely is a very difficult subject, it’s seems like in that society it’s very much normalised, at least judging from these women’s stories and that’s heartbreaking. I’m also curious if they would do a follow up with these women about their experiences in South Korea
@riduy211
@riduy211 7 жыл бұрын
Of course there are mental repercussions, didn't you watch the video? One of the rape victims jumped out of a train, another killed her superiors before killing herself, and a woman jumped off a 4-story balcony. Any concept of modern mental illness simply doesn't get diagnosed, and the person will die without saying anything, and no one will know anything.
