They're terrified internally. They have "won the game", but they realize they still feel the same. They try to distract themselves with trinkets and vice, they flaunt it to convince people that they're special because internally they know it's a lie. I've had disposable income at many points, it changes nothing. I much prefer lifes simple pleasures and I pity those who think buying the current thing is the most important goal, truly lost souls.

​@@s133p3r0 actually, no. being poor is embarrassing and a hard life. I had no indoor plumbing till I was 19 years old. we had an outhouse and sistern well on our porch. it stayed frozen for most of the winter. can you imagine taking a lantern to the john after the sun went down? we had electricity after I was about 10 years old which was like being rich for a while. there wasn't building codes for houses back then so we had to do the wiring ourselves. my grampa helped but eventually it caused part of our house to catch fire. we lived in it anyway and fixed it as we could. for these reasons I wanted friends but when your poor nobody wants to be seen with you. once I made 7th grade I had enough being shunned and quit school and started working on a farm next to my house. I know it's possible to get super lucky and work into riches but it a rare occurrence. for the most part, you are at birth what you will be later on. yeah I finally worked into a better life after years of working. but yeah being poor is a way harder life that leads to illness, depression, hunger, and loneliness. thing is, some rich people experience these same things, difference is they can't get help for these same things, when you're poor, you deal with it.

1. Plastic guy did not make money off his looks, he clearly had it before from parents 2. Spoon guy was also well of before if his mom was selling a 70,000 dollar car as a sacrifice 3. Dr. Lady seems very hardworking funny and pleasant. She is self made 4. Barbie girl got really lucky in the looks department but she also seems to have a really good head on her shoulders.

Yeah but, how does the second guy make $100 000 a month selling rings made out of old spoons? Doesn't seem legit to me. If the rings sold for $100 each, he'd have to sell 1000 rings a month (250 rings per week) to make $100 000. So yeah, but to sell that many every month of the year is a stretch.
