Finland is very calm, clean and the nature is beautiful. Forests and lakes everywhere. First I recommend during summer because we have the midnight sun. Finland does seem stunning :) thank you for sharing your view! I do have some questions I wanted to ask to someone familiar with Finland, I hope you don't mind. I wonder if you can get by without a car in Finland, and how the public transport system is? And is it safe to go hiking alone, are there hiking trails throughout the country or is it possible to just hike freely without being in danger for getting lost or for any wild animals? I don't know much about Finland yet but eager to hear from someone who does :)

10:47 This part reminded me of one experience I had a few years ago: I went grocery shopping with my family, and we happened to run into a group of 4 Japanese young adults who were cycling on the coast from Canada to Mexico. They happened to take a break at the grocery store by my house, in Southern California (we decided to reach out to them since we overheard them speaking Japanese), so we invited them over since I was having a party with my friends. They felt right at home since our household language is Japanese, while also getting a slice of American life, by partying with my friends. Being California, near the Los Angeles County, there was beer and marijuana at the party. Needless to say, those 4 cyclists got high for the first time in their lives. Despite the stigma on weed, especially in Japan, they wanted to try it anyway. We all had a great time that night. Thank you for the video!

I hope you can go abroad soon! If you come to America, you can get quite a different experience or impression depending on which city you choose. Some cities are more diverse and more open-minded than others. These ones I recommend, but maybe you can go to multiple cities during your stay. We have the Amtrak train you can take around the country. It's also a great way to see sceneries of America. They have beds on the train too! 1. NYC - biggest city, subway/don't need car, very diverse. They call it the city that never sleeps 2. Southern California (Los Angeles, San Diego) Northern California (San Jose, San Francisco) - Sunny warm weather, lots of palm trees make you feel like you're on vacation. Very diverse(lots of Asians). Many events and activities. Especially in LA. Food hub of many different cultures 3. Washington, DC - Capital of U.S. Smithsonian Museum is free. Lots of things to do, architecture to see. 4. Hawaii - nice sunny weather, diverse, many Japanese restaurants and people here. Like you're on vacation. Many tourists. 5. Seattle, Washington - Diverse, Liberal, weather is usually cloudy. One con about U.S. is that we are a car-dependant society, which I don't like. I really like public transportation like the trains in Japan. So you will see that there are a lot of roads for cars and everything is more spaced out. NYC will give the closest feel to Tokyo.

"I also wanna be based in Japan because of the food and toilets." TBH I can relate. I miss the food in Japan and it was so easy to find a free public toilet in Tokyo. Just go to any train station or department store. Some convenience stores like 7-11 and Family Mart also have public restrooms that are CLEAN. When I came back to America I realized how difficult it is to find a free and clean public restroom.... especially in NYC!!!! 😒

thank you for explaining. If you want to come to America, look up the cities where they have a Mitsuwa Marketplace. If a city has one of those supermarkets it's a good sign there's a Japanese community in the area. Over here in Washington DC, there's a handful of Japanese family owned restaurants and stores you can check out if you want to see the differences between larger and smaller Japanese American communities.

"I want to stay in Japan for the food and the toilets" ... okay, lowkey a big part of what makes me want to make a full move to Japan after being there for a few months... Some issues I encountered scare me away and make me think _I'd_ be a bad fit for Japan (actually working there more than anything), unfortunately, not to mention the difficulty and cost of an international move for most people... *but* that dang food, and the common existence of bidets... they call to me. They make me forget the things that didn't work out for me while I was there. Ah. In my dreams, I guess.

I will prefer Japan to other countries although I like Italy and Spain because all the stuffs are clean compared to other western countries and the foods are more delicious than other countries ( I used to think that western countries should be cleaner than Asian countries, but I am wrong after I witnessed. I haven't been USA, Canada and Australia so I don't know if these countries are clean or not but UK and some European countries disappointed me, I don't understand why the people just litter around without caring about their place.) Italian and Spaniard are friendly and passionate and make you happy but it's just superficial emotion, not the feeling of being indeed friends each other.

I don't agree with Spain being that clean but we eat well, that one is right. And you are also right about Spanish behaviour. If you're gonna travel and look for other Japanese, NY or Cali would be easy. If you want a challenge, try Tennessee. There aren't many Asians in general however, there are Japanese around due to the automobile and related companies operating in the area.

I really enjoyed this video. Great to hear the abroad experiences from Japanese natives. My Father lived in Japan for 4 years, before I was born.🇯🇵👍 I went to School in Québec, Canada (University). One of my classmates was born and grew up in Peru. He was 2nd Generation from Japan. He spoke no Japanese, just Spanish, some English, and we were at a French teaching University. I look forward to more of your videos.😊

It is interesting with the first dude saying that people would say how he is half but only knows Japanese. I have a similar experience because I am half American, half Dominican but I never spoke Spanish with my father growing up, so all the Spanish I learned was in school.
