I love seeing videos like this about remote and cold regions, especially now that we are melting under the unbearable heat in Brazil. Seeing the natural effect of extreme cold is good, it reduces the feeling of heat.

I'm pretty sure their ancestors did not use gil nets placed across the whole inlet, that nothing could pass or escape. I believe gil nets are illegal in Canada.

I could not live where there are no trees or schrubbery - just a few tiny wild flowers in summer - it's so soul destroying ! Anybody growing anything inside with lighting at least ? They could fly in flowering plants in the summer - even 3 months with a few flowers would make a big difference IMO ! Otherwise, I have no idea why you haven't moved south yet !
