Hi guys very helpful video. Online I read it’s possible to travel with dogs in cabin to the UAE if under 8kg Am I right?
@PAWDEGA5 күн бұрын
Hi! Thank you for watching. Not all airlines will accept small dogs in cabin. Please check with the airline. I believe the only airlines that allow this are Qatar airways and Turkish Airways, but it's a hefty fee. Regulations change all the time though, so make sure to check with your preferred airline.

Could you please tell me the name of the Cargo Company you flew her with ? Thanks for the video❤

8 years ago when she first moved to Dubai we flew her with Lufthansa and I think the Cargo company was called Petair.

Great info. Would you say the vets are avg or really good? Surgeons etc? Driving around with them is it illegal to have them on driver lap? Which are the areas / communities with most pets or dogs specifically? I like to be in an area where people are tolerant to dogs and barking. I believe we should allow dogs to bark as that is their way to communicate as we talk.

Thank you so much for watching. Regarding vets, I would say you can definitely find really good vets but it may take some trial and error before finding the right fit for you and your dog. We don't have any personal experience regarding surgeons. Dogs are not allowed in any public transportation (including taxis), even if they ride on your lap. As far as having dogs on your lap while being the driver of your own car, I'd say that's not allowed and we recommend dogs should be securely seated with a seatbelt. Regarding the areas, we have mentioned a list of dog friendly communities in the bonus tip at the end of the video 😃

Great video, can I take my siberian husky to dubai or are they on any kind of ban list in Dubai?
@PAWDEGA4 ай бұрын
Thank you, there are many Huskies in Dubai. There are even meet-ups for pet parents with huskies. They're not on any ban list for UAE.

@@PAWDEGA That’s great to know, thank you for that. We were so worried that if we move to Dubai we would not be able to take our baby (husky).

Appreciate this video! When you first moved there how did your Frenchie go with the flight? Looking at moving from Australia with my Frenchie, but the flight time is 14 hours and I get concerned about how well my one will go in the cargo hold (would definitely do it during the winter).

Glad it was helpful! When we moved to Dubai 8 years ago we brought her in from Germany via Cargo as this was the only way to bring her into Dubai back then. You can only import Frenchies through Cargo between October and April. Nowadays there are some more options via cabin, but the dog has to be below 8kg. Wishing you all the best

I have read that dogs need to be walked with a muzzle. Is that true? I have a golden retriever so wanted to know.

@@mercurial_me1 thanks for your comment and your question. This is not true 😊

Yes, but how do I bring my Belgium Malinois to Dubai without having to put him in the cargo compartment of the plane? I will never put my dog through that.
@PAWDEGAАй бұрын
Thank you for watching! Since your dog is above 8kg, unfortunately, unless your dog is a registered service dog, you'll have to bring him into Dubai through cargo. Hopefully, one day, this rule changes.
