Wives are down until the career is over, and the income stream is seriously reduced. No one discusses what Black football players who were unmarried once their career came to a close, and suffers from CTE are experiencing. For every Steve Young, Joe Montana, and even Jim McMahon who have wives and girlfriends assisting them through challenging times, what about the Blacks who were already seen as workhorses for the family and baby mamas, now having to deal with no NFL income and those in their present or former inner circle seeing them as disposable human remains?
@simonsez17874 жыл бұрын
@@thespadestable a lot of times those guys put themselves in that situation. They select wives who are trophies rather than partners, so the woman is as much an opportunist as he is. A problem of his own making. Star male athletes don’t want “regular” women. They think they’re invincible and don’t think about longevity when living high on the hog. Channing admitted to blowing 15,000 of his rookie money on a woman he was attracted to at a bank. He led with money to get what he wanted from her and ditched her shortly after. At least he was smart enough to know there was no future once she switched up her attitude once he got signed and money. I don’t feel sorry for these guys who exploit women then get exploited themselves. Date smarter and you won’t end up with gold diggers. Simple.

I love Brandon’s wife’s style and strength. Michi stands out from other baller wives for sure. As a woman I relate to her. She seems to care about the business and her community.
