I had a 1995 fiesta cayman blue, the interiors look exactly the same. I see it also has double air bags. This was the safest city car, so ahead at the time. I discovered it had reinforcement bars in the doors to protect against lateral crashes. I was gutted when I had to demolish it but at least I'm driving the 2012 model 🥲

I used to own a 1990 Ford Fiesta a very long time ago. This one looks like a 1994 or 1995 model year that has seen better days.

I was thinking all this time that the Mk4 introduced (dual) airbags, not even realizing the Mk3 offered them for 18 months before that. Just didn't make them standard fare in the Mk4 later on. Shocking how Ford was ahead, but not surprising when even the Golf added them as optional in 1992-93.

I had a brand new one in 1993 until 1997. It was a Ghia 1.3 also. It had no airbags. I liked it and I missed it. I know that it was scraped this year. So, it run for nearly 28 years. Great car.

the 1.3 was a very noisy sounding engine, I believe it was OHV rather than OHC so naturally noisier. If yours isn't a 1.3 then that's why it won't sound like this. I remember this sound very vividly from my childhood.
