Great looking VETTE!! I had a C5 Z for 12 years and loved it. In August, I bought an 09 Z with a Lingenfelter 660 build with a few extra goodies to make 700. All Z06's are beasts right out of the shoot. They are pretty much endless on aftermarket builds and maintain reliability. Can't ask for more!

Have a 2017 2LZ not a single rattle, runs great, but always something to work on or refine. Enjoy it! Beautiful and like what you said about the cam wanting smaller think that also helps with supercharged engines as well. Nice to hear the CHOP though!! Stay Strong!

I'm recently ( May 2023) back into a Corvette. I have owned a 1988 Z-51, a 1991 ZR-1, and for the last 6 years a 2011 Cadillac CTS-V. I now own a 2016 Z06 convertible in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic. I love it. It's nice to be back in a Corvette. Thanks for the video!

Experienced beyond clutch chatter in my GS #416 sounded like metal on metal Cadillac brakes. NOBODY would fix it crazy I see it now and then on some poor dealers lot. Sad beautiful car. Had a 2002 electron blue Z06 best vet and a 2017 Z06 convertable great car. Kinda building other stuff but Sir once you have this great life Corvette will always be like you say. Thank you.

Glad there are other people who enjoy their Cars, my Z06 C7 i drive everywhere, its a daily grocery getter, and dropping of my recycle, people give me strange look as remove trash from my car, also i had 76 trans am bought new at 22, now 69, and currently working on 79 for friend black and Gold, continue to enjoy life with the Z06👍🏿😎 Real men do triple digits.

Transmission shudder are the cylinder dropping to v-4 Mode i thought we bought a damage transmission Car 7k miles until i found a guy who bought a cylinder Range module, that keeps the car in V-8 mode 24-7 eco mode, touring, so on, i promise you our Z06 is a totally new car with that module, and GM know that engine design good in some areas but horrible, who wants a high performance Car that drop to a four cylinders, which is going to eventually do damage to engine.

Another thing man! How is the whine so noticeable, I can’t hear shit on mine. It is still stock and I know the cover ontop of the super charger is a silencer for some dumb reason. But other than that what else did you do to make it sound so much more noticeable

With a smaller upper and bigger lower pully the supercharger is being spun much faster

I can clearly hear the supercharger during the pull at the end. Do you know how he did that? Or which of his bolt-ons made that louder? You can't hear the supercharger even a little bit stock.

Oh yeah, hes got a bigger lower pulley and a smaller upper pulley. That supercharger is TURNIN

The older you get the less you want to shift. There's a reason why GM went away with the manual for the C8. Most people who could afford a new Vette are older folks and they preferred autos.

@@mrjjthor when I am no longer able to clutch and shift, I will either take a bicycle or I will walk; I've learned to drive on a manual, and I will always drive one; I'd rather walk everywhere than drive an automatic transmission vehicle of any kind ever again. And the Corvette chief engineer said it plainly in the C8 interview: the C8 didn't come with a manual transmission because no transmission manufacturer was interested in developing a transmission specifically for the C8 Corvette, which translated into plain English means: GM did not want to foot that bill either. And that's really shitty.

GM also claimed that the sales of Vette with manual transmission were so low that it wasn't worth the money invested into R&D in making another manual transmission which makes sense. Multiple car enthusiasts and journalists sites also repeated this. I'm all for manuals too and my C7Z is a manual and so were my previous sports cars but unfortunately most manual cars are dying.

Lol interesting. You had the Smoky and the Bandit TA. I was gifted the next gen TA as a senior. I had a 1989 Flame Red GTA. Then you replaced it with a Mustang GT. I was thinking about that until Ford pissed me off. I left the lot and never again tried to buy a Ford. Years later I bought a 2003 Z06 new. You ended up buying a C6 Z06. We both now own 2017 Z06. I have an Arctic White Z06 with 3LZ package. Black leather. No dash problems on mine yet. If one of the rattle problems you are mentioning is the targa roof when in place just look it up on youtube. They have a gasket fix for that.
