@@charlesntopa5675 it took 3 months, and personally I enjoyed the hiring process. Numerical and Verbal Reasoning Assessments were basic, GCSE level. I practiced quite a lot and brushed up on certain things. The Assessment Centre was done virtually (this is the last stage). What’s important to remember is that if KPMG wanted, they could realistically hire everyone. So I didn’t see the other candidates as competition, but rather, as team mates. We were presented with a problem scenario and asked how to overcome it. They weren’t looking for the correct answer, but, they were looking at your team work skills, and how you communicate, behave, analyse information etc. Towards the end of the Assessment Day, I got interviewed by a partner. They don’t ask you questions to catch you out, but rather, they want you to show them your competency, and link back to your CV and mention the skills acquired. My best tip would be to know about the line of work you’ve applied to, and be enthusiastic, and show competency by demonstrating that from your degree/experiences, you have had the opportunity to brush up on the skills that are vital to that line of work. You should also read about any current financial decisions that may impact the line of work you’re applying to, to show your commercial awareness.
