To be honest why Indian cricket captain Hitman Sharmaji ended up in single digit scores is due to the fact Australian cricket team did not hire chhappan inch ke chhati type bowling attack during Border Gavaskar Trophy (which is comprised of pace bowlers like Kane Chotiwala Richardson,Jhye Richardson,Benny bulldog Dwarshius,Sean khooni Abbot,Riley Meredith,Nathan Ellis & Jason Behrendoff+Spin bowling pair Adam Campa Cola (Zampa) and Ashton taklu Agar).Hence it has nothing to do with ageing of batting legends Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

He was always kind of mediocre in away tests. Which is why despite making his debut in 2007, players like Dhawan, Pujara and Murli Vijay were selected in the Test squad over Sharma. He is of course an all time great in limited overs cricket.

You will notice how he changed indian cricket by prioritising flat wickets too much in both format under his captaincy. Dhoni has been the worst Indian test captain in SeNa countries in last 30 years. Worst both in terms of numbers and acutual performance on the field(sometimes result is not the right indication of quality of cricket). The only think Rohit is doing better than Dhoni, he is not retiring in the middle of an overseas series ,but after loosing.Dhoni lost all my respect when he did that,it was an act of a coward, a captain of a sinking ship goes down with the ship but that guy flleed from the spot, 😅 ​@@harsh2810

He isn't dropping form , the story of Rohit Sharma has always been like this. He peaks in Home test series and falls apart in SENA tours. But yeah the NZ series at home was poor because India have an obsession of making spin friendly tracks ever since lockdown to take advantage with Ashwin ,Jaddu but that is affecting India's batting itself. Rohit has 0 100s in aus , Best score is 60 something , averages below 30 even in SA he's got 0 50s and averages 15. Only time he's Performed well in a SENA tour is when India toured England in 2021.

Since wc'23, his transformation into scoring selfless quick runs inside powerplay made him lost in touch in test cricket now. So, I feel the only way is to play like Harry Brook way, just pick his favourite length & line and keep hitting to boundaries. This will suit him. No need for sixes too much, just find the gap and score quick runs. He shouldn't think about balls instead how much runs he can score for his team matters. And because of that he will gain his confidence either

The major problem of india is "all format same captain rule". Rohit is definitely a great batsman but he is not as skillful as some proper test batsman. That's why he is suffering in tests. As well as he has a long limited over experience which leads him to be a great captain but again less long format experience. So don't blame Rohit or any other player from the team, it's management's fault.

rohit is playing the ball in its actual line but the deliveries he's getting are just too good cuz of seam movement and since rohit's eyes are catching the age and his reflexes are going down gradually, he isn't able to get in deviated line in real time. his head is falling? - Yes. but is his technique completely at fault?- No. age gets everyone. also the fact that rohit historically has been troubled by nip backer is making it worse for it. commendable that even after all he's able to at least predict the trajectory of the ball after seam lol. great batter tho
