I grant you the second point, but for the first one, they're living in his mom's old house and he wants to keep it EXACTLY the same as how it's been since his childhood. I honestly can't blame her for wanting to change it so it feels more like a home for her too, and not just him. Also him not wanting to change anything also ties in to his weird relationship with his mother, but that's a rabbit hole I don't want to go down right now.

A lot of reasons Howard is creepy. It’s Bernadette’s house she should be able to decorate it. It’s easy for men to want children they don’t have to get pregnant or give birth or stay awake at night. No interruption in career. I think women go through a lot more that’s reasonable that she doesn’t want a kid. She did everything and when she offered Howard to stay at home he refused. Still she took care of the kid. Men do nothing about the child bringing why should not they want kids.

Bernadette isnt a great person but let's not forget Howard isnt a prize. Like Bernadette did him a huge favour by even marrying him. Like he is a huge huge mommy's boy, lives with his mom, expects Bernadette to do all household work and expects his wife to spoil him like a child. Seriously, who on earth would wanna marry a guy just so you can mommy him? And that's before mentioning his physical and creepy nature. And how he rejected Bernadette because he was hoping to get some hot girl in the future. And the only reason he is still with Bernadette is because she is the only woman whom he could get. While Bernadette married him because she actually likes him.

I'm on team Bernadette on this one. She married the world's biggest mama's boy. Seriously. He expects her to cook and clean the house. Raise the kids. And still expect Bernadette to drive him to his pediatrician every year for check up. The same doctor since he was an actual child. If not for Bernadette, Howard as the song goes "would still be living with his mom." If Howard had lost Bernadette, afterwards Raj would move in with Howard and eventually get married because as Leonard's mom pointed out "Due to a pathological fear of women, it might explain why the two of you have created an air-set homosexual marriage to satisfy your need for intimacy." Then we all be saying, "She called it!!"

Two wrongs don't make a right, yeah Howard isn't fit to be father, even when he actually is a father, but Bernadette should have made it clear that she doesn't want children with Howard because she doesn't have faith in him as a parent. If Howard changes for the better good, if he doesn't then don't have kids. Just avoiding the subject and lying about it to everyone wasn't the right choice.

Maybe don't spell it "air-set" if you're trying to make a point by quoting people that are obviously a lot smarter than you are but on the same level when it comes to people skills. Ofcourse Howard is the typical nerdy only child, overprotected and guarded by a mother that was too busy not being able to let go to prepare him for a life of his own, and it needs a few wake-up calls to fix that, but the way Bernadette did it was just toxic molding. If anything she just took over the role of his mother and treated him as even more of a child with her lying, bossing around, "I'm doing this and you have no say in this," and "because I say so" behaviour. Like seriously "I'm completely changing the house you grew up in," and telling her father Howard isn't the one who doesn't want kids so she doesn't have to own up for herself? If anything she's behaving more like the spoiled brat than Howard!

I don't see how people can be so quick to hate on Bernadette when Howard wasn't even open to seeing her side of it and was pretty crappy to her many times while also being a really crappy friend to Raj. They even talk about how she does ALL the cleaning (and cooking) around the house while he can't even take a minute away from his video games and barely does anything to prepare for their baby's arrival when she's pregnant despite being the one who wanted kids.
