Most people think they are higher than they actually are. I made that mistake.

The big way to tell is how a person moves to the high percent position after they hit their shot to setup their position. If you are always chasing/reacting to the ball that's 3.5 and below.
@DanKaschel8 ай бұрын
Welp, i don't even know what a high % position is so I guess I'm below haha

Great video, might be the best I've seen explaining the ratings and type of play. Would have been cool for the cartoon to describe 5.0/5.5+. I'm new to pickleball but with natural racquet ability in ping pong and some tennis, 4.0 seems like a good fit!

I'm thinking I'm 3.0 or 3.5

My guess for me is 3.625 - why not? I do a few 4.0 things but my drops are not where I want them. Someone needs to come up with a questionaire type of rating like the "we can find which state you live in" thing. I see the questions like a reverse tournament bracket where you start at the winners slot and by the end of the questions you're fine tuned along the rating scale.

Ok I’m new. 4th day playing but I’m pretty good . I messed up. I just signed up for a 2.0 league lmfao. I’m sure I’m gonna smash em. I think I’m sowmehre in 3.5 - 4.0 . But I’ve never played in anything like this so

How did you do in your league?

The video gave somewhat confusing level descriptors for the numbers. 1.0 and 1.5 are basically never used (somebody who just bought their first paddle and watched a video), 2.0 - Beginner, 2.5 - Novice, 3.0- Intermediate, 3.5- High Intermediate, 4.0- Advanced, 4.5- High Advanced, 5.0- Expert. This is just more logical and shows progression more naturally.

Please amend the rule against artificial rotation in the serve like this: 1. A serve toss is given only once. The reason is a method that penalizes situations where the toss is misplaced to include an artificial spin. 2. You cannot make a turn by both hands. 3. No artificial rotation can be inserted between the fingers of the hand holding the ball.
@raymondayeung2 жыл бұрын
Finger spin serves are still legal in 2022 except for the pro division at the PPA. It keeps the game interesting and it's fun!

Why on earth would you think leaving a KZbin video comment would be effective?

Disadvantages of pickleball New York, London, Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing, Melbourne, etc. In downtown areas, there is a lot of noise because of the sound of hitting balls. Therefore, it is necessary to consider new regulations that allow low-noise balls and low-noise paddles so that people can enjoy without burdening the noise of hitting balls in densely populated areas. Another thing is to stipulate that paddles are developed to allow rotational increase up to 3,000RPM, allowing for more cool skills and tactics. (Use google translate)
