John butler does not have a philosophy degree. He's himself the philosohy.
@mariuszbryla71984 жыл бұрын
This is not philosophy. John shares inner Truth, inner Knowledge. This is deep soul knowledge. Philosophy is for the Mind that is lost in the illusion of Life that we perceive as "Reality". Inner Truth comes from inner wisdom, that is gained by "turning within" and recognizing your "inner self", recognizing what we really are. 🙏🙏🙏

Couldn't find myself agreeing more John! A life obsessed with either end of the "emotional spectrum", the "feeling good, feeling bad" is all full of the wrong things. "Full of heavy nothing" like I once heard my friend say about how he felt. Life isn't good, isn't bad, that's our grasping at it; life is. That's how I feel about it anyways - please keep these videos up John :)

I love watching these videos. A friend showed me John's wisdom and I find great relief with in his presence and simple playful descriptions. Coming from a varied background in meditation, mindfulness and tantric practices. I would like to share my thoughts on 'the body'. And what I believe is it's deep importance in our spiritual healing and attainment. A lot of spiritual practice and mediations teach transcendence and non attachment to body and mind, and in a more tantric approach to embody and identify through the body. I love my body, for housing my spirit, for all the deep wisdom she holds with in the womb, for the ability to nuture and birth life. I believe Life is a gift, a unique experience for the One, the Divine, the Essence, to experience itself, to play and to dance. Expression through the body is a gift, we can see ourselves as art and art in each of our actions. I don't know lifes purpose, and I don't need to , to simply enjoy the sensations of the body, the breath coming and going, the stillness and the energy. The body is also an important tool to healing trauma from our own lives, amcestorial and generational. We store much with in the fabric of our bodies, and they can set us free from programs and conditioning of the mind when we tune deep with in them. With so much love, I believe it's our birthright to experience happiness, to find out light within and shine it into others. Uplift others, uplift yourself. There is nothing more simple than sharing a smile to bring purpose to your life. As above so below, as within so without.

Thank you Rosie - I share your perspective on celebrating the body in and for itself as well as a precious vehicle for us to enjoy the world and express ourself in the world. Tantra has given me a better understanding of my body as a temple of the holy spirit. Phil

In hot weather we yearn for cool breezes, in cold weather we hope for the sun to be bright and warm...in the transition from one extreme to the other we tend to desire the moderate, when moderation starts to get excessive, we may begin to favor extremes...when life seems short, we want it to last forever, when life seems long, we may hope for rest. Of course, from time to time, the weather (whether inside or outside of our heads) seems ideal, and I'm sure most enjoy those moments immensely however brief or seldom they may seem, but perhaps our true purpose is recognizing our natural disposition toward dissatisfaction and to accept it as a consequence of how our nervous systems function...and then finally to realize that everything is perfect regardless of how we might feel about it in the moment...which some might say sounds like a decent description of authentic faith.

Just read letter of James (Bible). Humble John Butler has a great view on how we should look at ourselves. Not in full knowledge of oneself, we are part of a whole beyond our understanding. Life is a gift to be actively practiced (upon each individual works) by faith. Amen!

You can’t turn a sow’s ear into a silk purse, this mortal life being the sows crusty, smelly old, decomposing ear of course and the silk purse is heaven. So important to keep battling on in the hope of finding a simple purpose which could be absolutely anything. Just as John found his Russian studies that built on his already vast experience of the sow’s ear, we can find that one project or interest or spark that can pull us out of our hopelessness. Good things come to those who wait.

John. You’re a tremendous benefit to the world. And so is Ryan... The Body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. We don’t need to justify our existence; we just need to live it as God intended. With as much mercy, and grace and love as we can muster from moment to moment. We can only be of service when we let God’s spirit work in and through our life.
@meekomania4574 жыл бұрын
John says the body is of "flesh and profiteth nothing"and you state "the body is the temple of the holy spirit".The body is not from holy spirit that's why people dies and rots away and suffers from cancers and horrible deaths. Spirit is perfection the body is most definitely not perfection.I think John is correct personally lol

Steven mort Beautifully said! To quote from my favorite spiritual book; A Course in Miracles “What is REAL can not be threatened, What is unreal does not exist, herein lies the peace of God” Further along it defines REAL according to its terminology. However Dorothy spirit is not part of the 5 sense reality so knows nothing of here. However I dont take on board the body is the temple of the holy spirit I would say that the overly vast majority on this planet are cut off from the divine and like "a branch.withereth". The body is nothing to do with god. It's your soul is the contact with god 🙏 withereth"
@meekomania4574 жыл бұрын
@@EnjoyLifeNow yes..the aim is to drop the physical sense of body and the world as you know it and to be in the now which is beyond time and 5 sense of reality. The soul level which is your only contact with god.
