What's needed to take care of your Cirrus ? What's in my hangar to make sure the plane is ready

Taking care of a high-performance General Aviation aircraft is not for the faint of heart. But there is a lot owners can do to handle routine maintenance and proper care to ensure the plane is always ready. My take is to check the plane after each flight (as well as before) and have what you need on-hand to ensure that as much up-time as possible.
So over the course of a year I've gathered the most important items - keeping in-mind that less-is-more because space is always a consideration.
Here I show you what I keep in the hangar but if you have a garage or even a car or truck you can keep the same type of things. The idea is that these I've found, are the most important items to have ready in-hand to ensure the plane is well take care-of and ready-to-go when I am.

3:12 - Detailing cart with all the trimmings, Simple Green Extreme, Adam's Buttery Wax, Prist for Windshield, Shield Leather Cleaner, Ryobi Polisher

So you forgot the import stuff. You will need a spare #1 alternator and coupling. A spare nose and main tire and O rings for the wheels. They are different sizes. Spare brake pads and caliper O rings. I would also keep a spare #2 alternator bracket. These are common failure parts. And most maintenance shops wont have those specif parts unless they are a Cirrus service center. Just fyi..

Yah really good points - In the annual a few months back we replaced the brushes on Alt 1 and 2 and did the brakes. The spare tires are in the video and have them in the hangar. Some of the more specific Cirrus parts I'd probably just bring it over to the service center as there are 2 near me and a limited center on my field. Good points !
